Vachana 1247 — The Transformative Unity of Guru, Linga, and Jangama

Summary

The eternal, stainless Supreme Light-Reality gives instruction and becomes Guru, enters the Karasthala and becomes Linga, and moves within the living world—receiving Dasoha—and becomes Jangama.

Guru, Linga, and Jangama are therefore not three independent sacred realities. They are the distinct functions of one Divine ground.

When their threefold relation is rightly established and lived as one, the practitioner becomes Prasada-Kaya before Kudalasangama Deva.

Editorial Commentary

Nitya-Niranjana means eternal and unstained. Paranjyoti-Vastu indicates the Supreme Light as the governing Reality, not merely visible light.

Karasthala is the hand-space in which the Linga is directly held and related to. The vachana specifically places the Linga there and does not authorize an unrelated subtle-body interpretation.

The unity of Guru, Linga, and Jangama does not erase their distinct functions. Their non-difference lies in their one Divine source and their inseparable operation within realized living.

Prasada-Kaya means that the body itself has entered the condition of Prasada. It is more than receiving Prasada bodily, but it does not mean that the physical body disappears or becomes an object of self-glorification.
