Summary

The final image is true growth. After the weed is removed, the field must not remain empty; it must grow in Kudalasangama Deva.

Lingayoga
In Lingayoga, this vachana shows that the practitioner must not trust surface growth alone. A field may appear fertile while a hidden weed is already taking root.
The weed represents the defect that the seeker cannot safely ignore. If it remains, it can corrupt the very field of practice.
The practical movement here is surrender to Linga-Father. Basavanna asks for the root to be pulled out and for his life to grow only in Kudalasangama Deva.
Editorial Commentary
This vachana should be read as a prayer for deep correction. Basavanna does not ask for outward improvement alone. He asks that the hidden defect be removed at its root, because only then can true growth begin.
