Vachana 1344 – When Linga Is Anga and Anga Is Linga

Summary

When it is known that Linga is Anga and Anga is Linga, the Reality is there itself. When it is known that Linga is Prana and Prana is Linga, the Reality is there itself.

Nothing remains to be displayed as though Linga were an independently existing object. Nothing remains to be sought as though Linga were absent.

Before Kudalasangama Deva, Anga and Prana abide in uninterrupted Linga. Recognition has become continuous presence rather than a relation maintained between separate entities.

Imagery & Symbolic Relevance

Lingayoga

Lingayoga begins through relation: Anga turns toward Linga, and Prana is offered and established in Linga. These disciplines remain necessary while separation governs the practitioner’s experience.

The state described here is their fulfilled condition. Worship is no longer performed from a position outside Linga, and Prana is no longer experienced as personal possession. Embodied life and living awareness proceed without leaving the Linga-relation.

This recognition cannot be produced by repeating that Anga and Linga are one. Until it becomes lived truth, the practitioner must preserve worship, conduct, offering, remembrance, and reverence without prematurely claiming uninterrupted Linga.

Editorial Commentary

Anga is the embodied being in relation to Linga. Its identity with Linga does not mean physical disappearance.

Prana is the living principle. The vachana does not introduce breath-retention techniques, subtle channels, or an independent physiological system.

“There itself, That is” indicates that Reality is present within the realized relation itself; it is not another object beyond Linga, Anga, and Prana.

Linga-nirantara means uninterrupted Linga—Linga without interval, absence, or renewed separation.
